Orewa Beach to Scandretts Bay.


Orewa Beach.
- Has about 2.8 kiolmetres of sandy beach.With a boat ramp in the estuary to the left of the road bridge, when traveling north, that would be shallow at low tide. Orewa foreshore has a camp ground and surf club. There is a wide range of shops, eating establishments and businesses close to the coast.


Hatfields Beach.
- Has about 600 metres of sandy foreshore. There's one of the Hibiscus Coasts better concrete boat ramp, that goes down to the low tide mark. With adjacent trailer parking.
There's picnicking space along the foreshore, with some shade trees.


Waiwera Beach.
- Has about 700 metres of sandy foreshore. There's vehicle access on to the sand for small boat launching. Also a thermal pool complex and a camping ground.


Wenderholm Regional Park.
- Has about 1.1 kiolmetres of sandy foreshore. With a concrete boat ramp into the estuary, that small to medium size boats can launch from either side of high tide. The Regional Park allows, camping, picnicking, fishing and has farm animals including sheep that lamb in spring and cattle.A few electric and solid fuel barbecues are available.
The park opens: 6am and closes: 7pm (winter) 9pm (summer).

Mahurangi East.
- Has no road access. Access is by boat only.

Mahurangi West Regional Park
- Is the backdrop to three scenic bays - Sullivan's (Otarawao) Bay, Mita (Otuawao) Bay and Te Muri Bay. There are four campsites in Mahurangi Regional Park. Sullivans Bay, Mita Bay, Muri Bay and Lagoon Bay.There is a boat ramp at Opahi Bay. There are sheep and cattle grazing in the park.
Directions - Drive north on State Highway 1. About 6km past Waiwera and Wenderholm Regional Park, turn right into Mahurangi West Rd, then right into Ngarewa Drive and go to the end of the road.


Scott point.
- Includes the historic Scott Homestead, with two concrete boat ramps adjacent and a short beach.
Directions - Take Highway 1 to Warkworth and follow the signs to Snells Beach. Approximately 1km past Snells Beach turn right into Ridge Rd and go to the end of the road.


Martins Bay.
- If your looking for a Hibiscus Coast beach that has a camp ground adjacent to the beach, where you can launch a boat off the beach and have access to reasonable fishing and diving within about an hours drive of Auckland, this may be a good option.
There's a good beach roughly 900 metres of sand, with a gentle slope suitable for swimming. With vehicle beach access for boat launching and adjacent trailer parking.


Scandretts Bay.
-Scandretts Bay is one of the Hibiscus Coast's most recently acquired Regional parks. Scandretts Bay has about 400 metres of sandy beach and is an ideal setting for walking, swimming, kayaking, mountain biking, fishing and picnicking.
