Auckland shopping areas.
Auckland shopping areas include the following: I'll separate them into two groups:The first being being malls ( shopping centres ). These are large complexes designed all under one roof, with adjacent parking. The main advantages with malls are: a)It's easier to get a park close to your destination. b)There's good protection from the weather. The main disadvantages with malls is: a)You usually have the larger operations that are all the same, or the smaller boutiques are more upmarket with often higher prices, but not always! The second group are areas along and around main roads. The main advantages with these areas along a main roads is: a) You often find businesses that have been running for a long period and may have greater expertise in their chosen niche. b)You're also more likely to find a bargain, because these establishments often have lower overheads than mall stores so are able to pass on better deals, and are often have real 'sales', rather then a 'sale' every week as some chain stores seem to have. 1) Malls.
